How does the online school work?

No prior experience with online studies is required. If you are reading this announcement, you have already succeeded in the initial preparation. Online class is a new way to study, and it will save you travel time. But you need access to the Internet and an e-mail account on a regularly basis to make use of this information delivery.

First, you sign up for an online course of your choice clicking on the button below the description of this course in the catalog or going directly to the school at http://bgcenter.coursehost.com. You will need to create your username and password and pay for tuition by a credit card. You will need your username and password every time when your log on (enter the school).

Each course is divided into units of work. You will work on course material and do your guided research and reading. Feel free to print out any material you like, click on any button, and check every function. You will have a chance to discuss adoptive issues with the instructor using email and the discussion board. In fact, we encourage you to do exactly that, because you pay for the access to a professional, who is a knowledgeable and experience practitioner in the field, so do not miss that opportunity.

When should you log on? Any time you want and have a moment to work on a computer between the first and the last day of your course. Each online course is open 24 hours a day for the entire period of your subscription.

You work starting from the first unit, going through posted links and documents. When you are done with the entire unit, press "Done with this unit" button to complete it. Self-tests are available throughout the courses to make sure you understand the material and know what to do when you encounter the studied situation in real life.
